Inspired Youth are a multi award winning not-for-profit Social Enterprise who specialise in powerful film & media campaigns with positive social aims. We embrace the creativity and vibrancy of digital media production using arts and inclusion as vehicles to engage with individuals, communities and organisations. Our work informs, challenges, educates and inspires. Our passion is to make a positive impact in communities. Over eight years our creative processes and professional arts and media campaigns have achieved a high social impact in the wider community, both locally and nationally.

York Arc Light

Arc Light is a charity that provides accommodation and support to homeless men and women in York. We have been delivering services since 1999 and operate from a signature facility, in private grounds close to the city centre, which has 35 bedrooms, meeting and counselling spaces as well as education, health, fitness and community facilities. This welcoming and inspirational space offers our clients not only a place to stay but also the chance to make positive changes in their lives.

Scott Akoz

Scott has been a photographer for over 17 years, professional for 11 of these and has covered a big range of projects during his time as a pro-photographer. Scott is a professional portrait and events photographer originally from the City of York who now lives in County Durham. He is a big believer in illustrating what is real. Scott was behind the “A Story Like Ours” portrait images, a series of positive photographs capturing the lives of people living with dementia.
