My name is Ross, I’m 28 and i was born in Bristol.

Something you are passionate about

I love music. Music solves everything.

Childhood

My childhood was ok. I lived in Bristol but my parents broke up. I ended up getting involved with drugs and going down the wrong path.

Biggest achievement? 

My biggest achievement was passing my driving test.

What is your proudest moment?

The birth of my first child.

Happiest memory?

Watching Prodigy at sonisphere live past year.

How did you become homeless?

I became homeless because of a relationship breakdown which led to alcohol and drug abuse. Working with the Arc Light I have been dealing with my problems and moved forward. I now live in their supported accommodation and I’m really happy there.

The hardest part about being homeless

The hardest thing is people judging you. Just because you don’t have a roof over your head.

What have you learned from your experience of homelessness?

I have learned that you should not judge people.

Not to take life for granted.

What are your aspirations for the future?

I want to get involved in support work and helping other people in need from my experience.
