Over the last few weeks Arc Light Staff have been promoting the “We’re Human Too” project internally to residents. Tonight Inspired Youth met with a group of interested residents to explore the opportunity.
In order to fully engage people experiencing homelessness, we really wanted to convey the project concept and the idea behind the work. We talked the group through the process with our Prezi presentation.
To kick start the meeting we talked through the creative process and introduced people to some of our previous award-winning work including Music4Care, a music video shaped by Care leavers, made in partnership with The SpringBoard Project and A Story Like Ours, dementia friendly Campaign.
Residents reacted positively to the opportunity and there was a real interest in the project and its aims. We are confident going into the photography and film shoots which start next week.
